Response to “borrowing”
Well, I see the importance of using other pieces from other artists and designers to get ideas. I think that the article is correct in its statement. Where would the world be today if people could not learn and improve what is already out there. Although, I do see that there might be a problem with borrowing something that someone has gone through the aches and pains of creating it. Code, however is code, and sometimes there are people who don’t know enough code to do what they want to, and this borrowing technique can really help them out. I feel that a lot of the sites that I have created are semi-borrowed from other designs and code that I liked and the art from various places.
